These carp must be building lead houses.
Miss when carping was like this.. no ronnies or pointless components, just out and out proper carp talk.
Ban barbless hooks and mallets on all waters
Amazing, wouldn't have guessed
Still watching 2023👍🏼
Hob do you make the sliding hair??
bullshit color makes no difference
Barb less hooks penetrate to the bend and stay there Barbless hooks penetrate better . They provide a better hook set into the hard portion of the mouth. And stay out . I fish for large striped bass and a good hook set is crucial .
Solid PVA bags with crushed boilie, boilie flavoured PVA friendly glug, catapult a few freebie boilies around that and you can’t go wrong pretty much on any Lake or any conditions.
I’m sorry pal- there are eels in rivers, and plenty of them, and in the Nene- we have physically caught them.. you are wrong sir
Ian chillcott will dislike lol
Why, I thought Ian liked Lol…..😂
Get some Vitalin mixes .Cheap as chips!
Frank warrick a bloke really worth listening too
Frank is one dude really worth listening too.
Good senceable advice from Frank as usual
5-10 kg fuck me in spring!,what waters you fish dude must be rammed with fish.
Why doesn't he just go over to the swim nearby; probably only then a 30 - 40 yard max cast ? I get it if you are on the beach and you need to get some distance to get over the breakers but with most of these lakes, long casting is unnecessary.
shoot them no one will know
If you're only fishing a few hours and don't want to disturb swim then boat is great idea. It's more about baiting up accurately than casting accurately.
Used with a sonar finding a good spot is helpful though not necessary, each to their own , I own one but seldom use it The lake I fish in France has horrible weed That folds over everything , to cast among it would waste your time as lead and bait would into sediment . To find small spots a boat is helpful especially in the dark
Add some Korda goo to take it above £100 a bucket.
Hmm bullet proof shades how handy 🤔 tbh the biggest chance you've got of eye damage is when you're pulling ya rig out of a tree
Funny that, nowadays everyone says never use bags in weed 😅 ah the good old constant contradictions of FISHING
This is why u need to be allowed 6 to 18 rods to find out THE ULTIMATE TRUTH OF CARPERYNESS
Thanks guys..very interesting.
What would you rather remove from an ear piercing? Barbed or barbless?! Barbless for me always. No mouth damage, quicker unhooking and not many lost fish in my experience.
You should be officially taught how to fish and pass a test, for instance as in Germany.
I don’t suppose it would be any good on a fast flowing river like the Thames for eg.
Salam Əleykum super bıro
Salam Əleykum super
It's all Ok having to lose a weight . However bad for the environment and for the price and pocket, one day Some one like me with scuba is going to have to clean up all these discarded weights. Carp fishing is expensive as it is.
Any unhooking tips for barbed/micro barbed. Managed to unhook all of the carp I’ve caught but it doesn’t feel as smooth as barbless
It will never feel as smooth as a barbless for unhooking a barbed one. As for unhooking a barbed hook. Try to twist the hook in a straight line the way the hook went in
Wich gives the most spread spomb or spod?
spod
There is no harm in it if someone wants to use it let them . if you dont want to use one dont. Whats wrong is when the person who doesnt want to use one is campaigning for them to be banned. More people will fish if they are allowed. Dont let the grumpy old men ruin the youth coming to the sport.
9 years ... bring back bivvy tv
I sharpen it the other way and never had an issue. Weird seeing it done away from the point
good advice but us watching still haven't gained anything as we dont know what the choices of bait are called
Bunch of old noddies
Thanks some great tips
Secret amount behave
Perfect presentation from Steve's bag
I use bags on multis or Jon mac ric whichever and all I do I shrink tube my knot like a kicker as such and it pinches the loop stops it slipping obviously if it's a bug chuck I wouldn't risk it but also helps with small fish or birds stops it unsettling to rig
Whats the best lead type to use with a chod?
Lightest you can get away with
1:42 mate you should have fished in the edge lol
Soz it's 1:40
This footage my will be more than nine years old, but that rig is as good as today as it was when Frank Warwick first started using it. I have lost count of how many fish I have hooked and landed on that type of rig !!
Instablaster...
But Martin Bowler fishes that exact rig for Tench but eusing flouro carbon link .😊
Lee Jackson - A Master at work 🎣
Love Frank Warwick Living Legend! Humble Man
Absolute rubbish, poor fisherman justifying barbed hooks. Shouldn’t fish if you can’t use barbless hooks.
Bouncing around in the mouth of a fish. What a dope
Was that band playing beside you at the pond? Bet it was hard work carrying the drum kit to the peg!
